Gorgeous painting. Yes, it's nice to end things up. I love spring.....new beginnings....seems slow in arriving here, but I think we've finally turned a corner. Tulip leaves are pushing above ground, and there are the teeniest leaf buds on the trees and bushes. Had the window open for awhile early this morning, and the birds were chirping away. 61 F degrees right now at noon with wonderful sunshine.

A couple of years ago I read (audiobook) a book called How to Talk About Books You haven't read by Pierre Bayard. Interesting and funny, and it gave me 'permission' to not finish reading books that I really am not into. Love the wintry cardinal painting.
