Mr C is keeping his record up - four emergency surgeries in eight years. To date the detached retinas are winning. Better that than that open heart surgery I suppose. Perhaps we should consider getting off of this train. But how?
Time for some comfort food. How about homemade pizza?
Let's look on the bright side. There wil be plenty of waiting room knitting.

It's good that you are looking on the bright side, with help from that pizza. Wishing your husband a full recovery. My BIL had his second surgery for detached retina last spring and is doing well.

So sorry to hear this. We have a friend who has gone through multiple surgeries for a detached retina and we've seen how frustrating it can be. Sending hugs to both of you.
