Once again you have given us way too much information! But give Bryant hugs from us (just don't tell him - 15-year-old boys are kinda funny about that). Several years ago we went through some issues with my husband's parents. Too complicated to go into and involving poor behavior rather than mental illness, but the results for us were the same - constant worry and uproar in our lives. I guess one of the things that we came out of it with was that we will try so hard to make our children's lives easier, not harder, as we grow old. Thinking of you!

Yeah, really, did we actually have to hear about how far Bry's puke went?! I did laugh SO hard reading the one entry about how Gracie ate your $60!!! So which do you think is the worst: money, a bottle of glitter glue, a watermelon candle or a bottle of tetracyclene?

Rebekah

What a great tip! Of course now everytime I try it, I'll be imagining those goats in winter.

Hello. I happened onto your blog tonight. So sorry about your mother and your son being sick and all. This sandwich generation is quite the thing, isn't it? Meanwhile, I think your knitting is fantastic, and I'd love the pattern for the Herringbone Rib scarf. I've made a "so-called scarf" from some Manos, but I have some more waiting to be knitted. The Herringbone Rib seems to be just the thing. Thanks, and good luck.

I am sorry to hear about your son, I sure hope he gets better soon. Best wishes with your Mom, it can be such a rotten position to be in. My parents just moved back to Kalamazoo to care for my grandparents, they have their own home and are mostly independent. And even so, they are driving my parents crazy. Just know that all of us silly knitting bloggers are behind you. :-)

Try putting the mohair in the freezer prior to frogging.

Thanks for the comment, we saw the Burlington Bob's...but we wanted the Sudden Valley Bob's. We miss Sudden Valley, but our trip was tons of fun. What's your favorite Bob's Burger?
